Event Support Services
The Phoenix Regional Sports Commission (PRSC) offers consulting and support services to groups that are looking to bring events to the Valley of the Sun. A list of categories in which the PRSC can provide assistance appears below. Due to the high number of events looking to make their home in the Greater Phoenix area, the Sports Commission may or may not have the time and resources to assist. The Commission's goal is to enrich the community through sports, therefore events seeking our guidance should meet the organization's goals and objectives. Ideally, these events will provide a quantifiable economic impact to one or more of the fourteen municipalities that the Commission serves, as well as bring national or international exposure to the area.
Destination Management
One hurdle in having a successful event is making sure your participants have every thing they need in terms of air, hotel, and ground transportation. If you are bringing an event to the Valley, The PRSC can assist you with all of your travel accommodations. Through our network of transportation and hospitality partners, we will work with you to provide the highest level of service within your budget.
Bid Development / Event Management
Bid development and event management are very important to the Sports Commission. We can operate as a resource for organizations seeking assistance in formulating bids or managing events. The PRSC will sit down with the prospective organizer and share insight on how to deliver a successful bid and make an event exceed expectations.
Event Site Selection
Finding the perfect location for an event can be a difficult task in a region that has so many options. Choosing a venue that is not an ideal fit can be an event killer. We are committed to making sure that we guide our event partners in the right direction when it comes to site selection. By understanding the demographics and needs of your participants we can show you locations that best fit your requirements.
Public & Media Relations
The Sports Commission can provide promotional support through our extensive network of local contacts. By circulating the event organizer's press releases and sharing major media contacts we can help to create awareness around an event. Depending on the event we may also feature it on our website and in our newsletter.
Sponsorship Sales & Consulting
The staff at the PRSC has extensive experience in the world of sponsorship sales for events and sports properties. For events looking to add sponsorships in major categories, the Sports Commission can be retained for an array of services including, sponsorship package analysis, market research, and sponsorship sales and servicing.
Volunteer Recruitment
The PRSC can help event organizers recruit volunteers in certain situations. As the core to any events success, finding and training the best volunteers form their respective tasks is critical.
